The New World of Noncredit: Building and Expanding Programs in Community Colleges

Noncredit education is growing in California Community Colleges. Faculty, administration, and staff need resources to plan, develop and grow their services, instructional programs, and operations to support student success. This two-day conference will provide information related to best practices in instruction, student services, institutional effectiveness and research, and policy, finance, and administration. San Diego Continuing Education will present the 2017 Noncredit Report findings during a general session on the first day. During team time, colleges will have the opportunity to discuss an optimal organizational structure appropriate for their individual cultures.
Both days include breakfast and lunch, and a welcome reception follows the first day’s program.

Schedule/Registration/Cost

Who Should Attend?
Each college is encouraged send a team of up to 8 from instruction, student services, research and planning, business services, and administration. Suggested team members include credit and noncredit faculty; counselors; curriculum chairs; and representatives from admissions and records, finance and accounting, institutional research and planning, student equity, student success and support, and Adult Education and Strong Workforce programs.
