Solar photovoltaic (PV) installers, often called PV installers, assemble, install, or maintain solar panel systems on roofs or other structures for both residential and commercial applications.

Work Environment:

The workplace of a solar photovoltaic installer is typically outdoors and takes place in all types of weather conditions. Although most PV installation is done outdoors, installers mostly work on roofs but sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electric grid. Installers must also travel to job sites.
