Behind the Scenes in ICT Event

The Deputy Sector Navigator of ICT/Digital Media, SDCOE Career Pathways, and SB 1070 CTE Regional Pathways are inviting K-12 Teachers and Community College Faculty interested in a FREE professional development training focused on Information Communication Technology on Tuesday November 14 from 8:30am-3pm at San Diego City College and downtown business partners. Free parking, light breakfast, and lunch will be included.
What to expect:
• Meet Patrick the NAO Robot and gain a better understanding of the many ICT careers associated with robotics
• Interact with an industry panel
• Get a better understanding of the ICT Labor Market and how to help students explore ICT careers.
• Make High School-Community College Connections
• Access ICT Curriculum and resources
• Visit a local ICT industry partner
Even if educators are not in an ICT pathway, they will learn ways to incorporate the sector into their respective pathway(s). Register HERE. See flyer.
