The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) develops standardized construction and maintenance curriculum and assessments with portable credentials. These credentials are tracked through NCCER’s registry that allows organizations and companies to track the qualifications of their craft professionals and/or check the qualifications of possible new hires. NCCER is a programmatic industry-standard curriculum appropriate for skilled & technical trades, including:
Advanced Manufacturing
Construction & Maintenance
Energy, Pipeline & Utility
In total, close to 70 trades are represented with comprehensive, turn-key Trainee and Instructor Guides, Lesson Plans, Knowledge & Practical Skills exams and NCCER’s portable, stack-able, industry-recognized Credentials. All the curriculum is developed by industry SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) under a consistent instructional design model to set the benchmark for professional craft-worker development.
