Overview of AE / CTE Coding & Alignment Work

Updates to repository & user guide

Action items:

1) Due to scheduling conflicts, we have decided to cancel our October 25 and November 22 workgroup meetings. Instead, we are going to combine the Oct and Nov meetings to meet one time earlier in November. By Friday, Sept 30, please complete this doodle. Be on the lookout for a cancelation of the Oct and Nov meetings, and a new zoom meeting invitation.

2) For the next steps in our data repository work, we have decided to create a health alignment cohort to meet via zoom to actively work on horizontal course alignment.

Goals for Adult Education/Noncredit CTE Alignment:

– Students are more knowledgeable of opportunities,
– Greater visibility among AE partners,
– Common nomenclature for program offerings, and
– More coherent pathways.

Health Programs in the repository for reference.

Action items:

• By October 11, please enter your health cohort designees in this spreadsheet.
• After October 11, we will send a doodle to the cohort members to determine a consistent meeting day/time, beginning in November.
• Each meeting will be 90 minutes, 2x per month. The number of meetings will be determined by program need (i.e. if the program area is aligned in 3 meetings, they will be done. Although, some program areas may take longer)
