Statewide Credit by Exam Survey
The statewide articulation credit by exam (CBE) survey was created during the summer of 2022 for California community college (CC) staff who coordinate/implement CBE. It was opened in SurveyMonkey on August 15 and closed on September 2, 2022. The 53 respondents represented 50 colleges across 38 of California’s 58 counties. The survey aimed to elicit information and opinions about some of the challenges associated with CBE, such as students getting their CCCApply ID, college ID, and their articulated credits transcripted. The goal was to brainstorm solutions to common challenges and propose policy changes to the California Community College Chancellor’s Office about processes like student applications or funding.
